Job Summary:
We are seeking a Forklift Tire Technician to join our team in a mobile, customer-facing role based out of Bristol, PA. This position involves operating a fully equipped service truck with an onboard tire press to perform tire replacements and service at customer locations throughout our service territory.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in the field while representing the company professionally. We provide hands-on training for operating the tire press and performing tire replacements, making this a great opportunity for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude looking to build a specialized skill set.
Key Responsibilities
- Replace and service press-on and solid pneumatic tires on forklifts and material handling equipment
- Operate a mobile service truck equipped with a hydraulic tire press
- Perform tire changes both in-shop and at customer job sites
- Travel daily throughout the company’s service territory to support customer needs
- Conduct basic fleet inspections and identify potential maintenance needs
- Safely operate and maintain company service vehicle and onboard equipment
- Complete daily work orders, labor tracking, and service documentation accurately
- Communicate with customers on-site to confirm work scope and provide updates
- Obtain approval for any additional work or overtime when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service vehicle
- Follow all company safety policies and properly use required PPE
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel daily throughout the service territory (based out of Bristol, PA)
- Strong mechanical aptitude (training provided for tire press operation and installation/removal of forklift tires)
- Strong attention to safety, detail, and customer service
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver 75+ lbs regularly
- Ability to work in various environments (indoors, outdoors, shop, and customer sites)
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting throughout the day
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
