Purpose of this Role:

Outbound plays a crucial role in supporting a company’s logistics and distribution efforts. This role is perfect for an individual who is passionate about operations, takes pride in precision, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. As a Forklift Driver in the Outbound department, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, preparing orders for dispatch, and maintaining the smooth flow of daily outbound activities.

Key Accountabilities and Outputs:

• Checking and completing of all sales order on the D365 scanner ,by picking the correct material for each customer.
• Ensuring that all sales are picked and staged correctly
• Loading of all orders into relevant trucks/trailers and export container
• Maintain service levels and always following Safety procedures.
• Warehouse maintenance-put away cancelled sales orders back into stock.

• Grade 12 / Matric with a pass mark in Maths/Maths Lit and English is essential.
• Experience as a Forklift Driver is essential.
• Forklift license and experience is an added advantage.
• Understanding of Outbound logistics is highly advantageous.
• Good knowledge and understanding of ISO 90001 are advantageous.
• Must be able to work shifts.
• Must have good vision.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001,18001 is an advantage.
• System and application knowledge e.g. 5S, CAMS
