Restaurant Manager – George, Western Cape
A very busy, family-oriented restaurant in George is looking for an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar restaurant management role
- Strong knowledge of stock control and cost management
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage busy service periods
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Willing to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays
- Own transport esential
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations
- Manage and motivate front-of-house staff
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest experience
- Monitor and control stock, ordering, and wastage
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints professionally
- Ensure smooth service and efficient staff coordination
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards
What We Offer:
- Salary dependent on experience
Pay: R14 000,00 – R18 000,00 per month
