FME Coordinator
An EME based in Pretoria East, Watloo is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their team.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or related qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or Maintenance Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) coordination within power generation or heavy industrial environments
- Proven experience in implementing and managing FME controls during outages and shutdowns
- Experience working on Eskom power stations or large industrial outages will be advantageous
- Good knowledge of outage procedures, quality control, and safety standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and enforce FME requirements during outage and maintenance activities
- Conduct FME inspections, audits, and compliance checks
- Maintain FME registers, permits, and documentation
- Ensure tools, materials, and work areas comply with FME standards
- Liaise with contractors, supervisors, and outage teams to prevent foreign material contamination
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong coordination and organizational skills
- Good communication and reporting abilities
- High attention to detail and compliance
- Ability to work under pressure in outage environments
