SUMMARY:
A dynamic opportunity for a CA(SA) with strong FP&A and commercial finance exposure within the Financial Services sector. POSITION INFO:
Our client, a well-established and forward-thinking Financial Services organisation, is seeking a FP&A Finance Manager to join their high-performing finance team. This role is ideal for a commercially minded Chartered Accountant who thrives in a strategic environment where financial insights directly influence business growth and performance.
You will play a key role in financial planning, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic reporting, partnering with senior leadership to provide meaningful insights that support decision-making and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
- Provide strategic financial insights and performance analysis to senior management and key stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards to support business planning and performance monitoring.
- Analyse financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Partner with business units to support commercial decision-making and financial strategy.
- Prepare and present management reports and board-level financial insights.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- Qualified CA(SA) (non-negotiable)
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ post-articles experience outside of audit
- Experience within Financial Services will be highly advantageous
- Proven exposure to FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Experience supporting strategic decision-making and performance analysis
Skills:
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial reporting systems / BI tools advantageous
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
