We are looking for a Fleet Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for performing basic and advanced truck maintenance and repair tasks on a fleet of 24 Chevy and Ford trucks (light & medium duty trucks)
Primary Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Track and perform preventative maintenance and complete minor repairs on fleet including oil changes, brake system repairs, tire changes, and standard repairs
- Performs skilled mechanical work while analyzing and diagnosing problems
- Inspect, replace and/or repair defective parts while performing preventative maintenance on light and medium duty trucks
- Minor body work – headlights, latches, doors etc
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
We are looking for:
- A minimum of 2 years’ auto repair / maintenance experience in a professional capacity
- Night and Weekend availability is a
- ASE Certification preferred, but not required
- Complete basic tool set preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate and drive vehicles
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to obtain certification to perform Federal Annual Inspections, employer paid
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
