SUMMARY:
Our well-established client in the fuel industry is seeking a proactive and organised Fleet Controller to manage and coordinate its fleet of company vehicles nationwide.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and fleet management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and ensuring vehicles remain compliant, safe, and operational.
POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Matric (Grade 12). Relevant qualification in Fleet Management, Logistics, Transport, or Administration will be advantageous. 3-5 years' experience in a Fleet Controller or similar fleet administration role. Experience managing company vehicles, including cars and trucks Fleet-related administration. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules, licensing, insurance, and compliance. Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience using fleet management systems will be advantageous. Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's licence. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate the day-to-day management of the company fleet. Schedule and monitor vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Manage vehicle licensing, registrations, insurance, and fleet-related documentation. Maintain accurate fleet records and reporting. Monitor vehicle utilisation, fuel consumption, and driver compliance. Coordinate breakdown assistance and repairs when required. Liaise with service providers, workshops, insurers, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant road traffic legislation. Assist with the allocation and tracking of company vehicles. Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and vehicle damage.
