Job Advert Summary
An opportunity exists for a Fixed-Term Logistics Admin Clerk to join our Logistics team for a period from 15 July 2026 to 15 November 2026 whilst one of our employees are on maternity leave.
The main purpose of this role is to coordinate shipment of garments, manage inventory and warehouse operations, process orders, handle returns, prepare shipping documents, communicate with carriers and vendors, track goods and maintain records.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
- Previous experience in a Logistics/Warehouse environment
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Internet
- Ability to identify and resolve shipment or inventory discrepancies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative
- Perform general administrative tasks to support logistics operations.
- Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for logistics records.
- Handle proof of delivery (POD) documentation and ensure timely processing.
Logistics Operations
- Understand and support end-to-end logistics processes, including receiving, dispatching, and tracking.
- Ensure compliance with company logistic procedures and standards.
System & Process Management
- Operate logistics software systems, particularly Acumatica, to manage shipments, invoices and documentation.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity within the system.
Performance & Quality
- Demonstrate high attention to detail to minimize errors in documentation and data entry.
- Work efficiently to meet tight deadlines and operational targets.
- Show adaptability in a dynamic logistics environment.
Team & Communication
- Collaborate effectively with team members, drivers, warehouse staff, and other departments.
- Take initiative and show proactivity in identifying and resolving issues.
- Be accountable for assigned tasks and follow through on responsibilities.
