SUMMARY:
Job Title: Fitter & Turner
Location: Germiston, Gauteng
Salary: R15 000 – R22 000 p/m CTC, depending on experience
Responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, and repair of precision components and industrial equipment used in the meat and poultry processing industry. The role ensures that all machinery operates efficiently, safely, and in line with company and industry standards.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities
- Machine and manufacture components to specification
- Assemble, fit, and repair industrial equipment
- Perform maintenance and fault-finding on machinery
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Conduct on-site repairs when required
Minimum Requirements
- Trade Tested Fitter & Turner (Red Seal preferred)
- 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience with industrial or food processing machinery advantageous
- Valid driver’s license

- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
