Overview
Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a skilled Fitter to join their team in the automotive industry in the Western Cape region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, installing, and repairing various components in vehicles to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities:
Inspect vehicles to identify issues and determine the best course of action for repairs
Fit and install mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components in vehicles according to manufacturer specifications
Repair and replace faulty parts, such as brakes, suspension systems, and engines
Conduct diagnostic tests to identify potential problems and recommend solutions
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
Ensure all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to safety protocols
Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
Requirement:
Trade certification in Automotive, Engineering, or a relevant field
N4 or higher Mechanical qualification
Proven experience as a Fitter in the automotive industry
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and components
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Detail-oriented with a high level of precision in workmanship
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Valid driver’s license
