Fitter

• Write and read drawings.
• Ensure that all locker and inspection plates are fitted.
• Ensure that quality standards for production are enforced.
• Ensure that buses are built according to specifications.
• Ensure that the bonding process is followed.
• Ensure that all safety precautions are adhered to.
• Apply and have knowledge of all internal house-keeping standards.

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
• Trade Test Certificate.

Skills:

• Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
• Flexible, active and forward thinking.
• Analytical and strategic skills to identify problems thereafter solve them.
• EC or EC1 drivers’ licence.
• Work independently though being a team player.
• Technical drawing experience and interpretation.
• Able to use hand and power tools.

Experience:

• Experience in the same/similar role – 1 year.
