La Crosse Fireplace Company is a family owned and operated business in La Crosse, WI. We are currently seeking a Fireplace Installer to join our Team. We have a great team of employees with the average employment retention of 15 years.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing gas, electric, and/or wood-burning fireplaces in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install fireplaces, inserts, stoves and venting systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
- Inspect job sites and ensure proper measurements and clearances
- Educate customers on safe operation and maintenance
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle
- Follow all safety procedures and building regulations
- Complete job documentation and reports accurately
Qualifications
- Previous experience in fireplace installation, HVAC, construction, or a related field preferred but Not Required.
- Able to safely work at elevated heights and comfortable working on ladders and rooftops
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various environments (indoors/outdoors)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
