Our client, a leading international mining company, is seeking a skilled Regional FP&A Manager to join their team in Mauritius. Known for their commitment to sustainable practices and community engagement, this organisation is at the forefront of responsible mining.
Reporting to the Regional Finance Director and Group FP&A, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and operational decision-making across the region.
Position: FP&A Manager
Location: Mauritius, Expats welcome
Qualifications:
- ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of relevant experience of which 5 years is within a management role
- Mining, Energy or Oil and Gas industry experience (Not negotiable)
Salary: USD salary negotiable on experience, discretionary bonus,
Skills: Excellent English
Financial Modelling
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the preparation and presentation of financial budgets and forecasts
- Monitor, review and report Region/Company performance against budget and/or forecasts on a monthly/on-going basis
- Drive the financial performance reviews and providing support to achieve the financial and commercial objectives of the relevant Business Units and/or departments
- Responsible/play a key role for financial modelling of five-year strategic plans including impairment models
- Management of the FP&A Managers and/or Analysts of the mining entities
- Management and maintenance of FP&A systems and processes, including creating efficiencies and improvements for the operating entities
