Position: Financial Manager – CA(SA)
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Financial Manager to lead the daily financial operations of our business. Reporting directly to the CFO/FD and CEO, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding financial integrity, managing financial risks, and supporting strategic decisions that drive profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Manage end-to-end accounting for all group entities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
- Work closely with internal and external auditors on audits and reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and broker commission payments
- Handle all SARS calculations and submissions (VAT, PAYE, Tax)
- Oversee daily payment runs and ensure smooth cash flow
- Prepare documentation for Board and committee meetings
- Support the CFO/FD in all regulatory and statutory reporting
Treasury & Risk Management:
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships
- Ensure adequate insurance coverage and risk management practices
Leadership & Strategy:
- Play an active role in supporting strategic decision-making
- Provide ad hoc support on financial and operational tasks as required
Minimum Requirements:
- Chartered Accountant CA(SA) qualification with a valid SAICA certificate
- 3+ years post-qualification experience in a similar financial management role
- Strong working knowledge of financial regulations and standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial software
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities
- Close attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet deadlines
