Responsibilities
- Managing the company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts against specific deadlines
- Preparing annual financial statements against specific deadlines
- Producing reports for management meetings and reporting on financial matters
- Liaising with external auditors.
- Managing all banking and investment accounts, including reconciliations and payments
- Prepare budgets and forecasts
- Preparing and managing cash flows and predicting future trends
- Performing VAT / PAYE / IT calculations, reconciliations, submissions and payments, as well as all correspondence and resolving of queries and audits.
- Implementing risk management controls and internal financial controls
- Manage and control accounts payable process
- Manage and control payroll process
- Managing BBBEE certification process
- Job costing profitability reconciliations
- Staff management
- Develop systems and processes to support delivery of the objectives of the company
- Manage contracts and relationships with internal / external service providers
- Replying to all financial queries
- Fixed asset management
- To undertake any other tasks allocated
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements: BCom(Acc), BCompt / Accredited financial qualification
- At least 5 years of accounting experience
- Management of financial supports
- Computer literate – Excel, MS Word, a recognized accounting package,
- Sage Evolution is a requirement
