About the role

This is a full time onsite role. We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join its Risk, Reporting and Finance function. This role is hands-on and blended: you will (i) support and help maintain our internal systems and reporting tools (including data flows, dashboards and process automation), and (ii) contribute to core fund accounting and monitoring activities across our fund vehicles and underlying investments. The role suits someone who enjoys combining strong accounting fundamentals with an interest in improving how data and reporting are produced.

We are looking for a candidate who wants to:

  • Support the Firm’s reporting systems and tools (data collection, validation, automation and dashboards).
  • Contribute to fund accounting deliverables and investor reporting (quarterly/annual cycles and ad-hoc requests).
  • Monitor underlying fund and portfolio company information (financial statements, capital activity, valuations, KPIs/ESG metrics).
  • Improve data quality and documentation so reporting is repeatable, auditable and resilient.
  • Work in a small team where ownership, reliability and attention to detail matter.

Where you will be adding value:

  • Fund accounting & reporting: support the preparation of quarterly reporting packs for the Firm’s fund vehicles (including NAV support schedules, capital activity support, and reporting tie-outs).
  • Investor deliverables: assist with ad-hoc investor reporting and information requests, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitoring: review and analyse financial statements, capital calls/distributions, and independent valuation reports received from underlying funds and managers.
  • Data management: maintain and enhance the investment and reporting databases, ensuring data integrity, version control and clear audit trails.
  • Continuous improvement: support documentation of processes and propose pragmatic improvements (including the responsible use of AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks).

Attributes, Experience and Qualifications

  • An undergraduate degree in either Finance, Accounting, Banking, Mathematics, Economics or Business.
  • ACCA/ACA/CFA qualified or currently studying towards one of these professional qualifications.
  • At least 4-5 years of experience within a Big 4 firm, management company or financial institution, with hands-on experience in Private Equity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and well-versed in the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills, including financial statement analysis, variance analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to work within a small, highly skilled team where accuracy and ownership matter.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (French will be an advantage).

What we offer

  • A hands-on role with exposure to fund operations, investor reporting and investment monitoring.
  • The opportunity to contribute to systems improvement, automation and dashboarding.
  • On-the-job training and development in private equity fund-of-funds reporting and analytics.
  • Autonomy to improve processes and implement innovative, practical solutions.
  • Remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience within the Mauritian market.

The deadline for submission of applications is 31 May 2026.

Shortlisted candidates may be required to provide two professional references and a valid Certificate of Character (less than 3 months old). The Firm reserves the right not to appoint anyone following this recruitment process.
