Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing company within the insurance and financial services industry, is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor Manager to lead and manage their Johannesburg branch.
This role is suited to a strong leader with proven experience in managing high-performing sales teams within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will oversee branch operations, drive business growth, ensure compliance, and manage a team of Financial Advisors and office support staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the branch
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of approximately 15 Financial Advisors and office staff
- Drive sales performance and ensure branch targets are achieved
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop Financial Advisors
- Monitor productivity, KPIs, and overall team performance
- Ensure FAIS and compliance standards are maintained
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Maintain a professional and high-performance office environment
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar management role within the insurance or financial services industry
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
- Relevant financial or insurance qualifications
- RE5 qualification advantageous
- FAIS compliant (preferred)
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent communication and administrative abilities
- Target-driven and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport advantageous
