Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Financial Advisor role based in Benin City, with some flexibility to work from home. The Financial Advisor will meet with prospective and existing clients to assess their financial goals, explain insurance and investment products, and recommend tailored financial plans. Daily activities include conducting financial needs analyses, preparing proposals and quotations, and guiding clients on retirement planning, risk protection, and wealth-building strategies. The role involves following up on leads, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring ongoing policy reviews and updates. The Financial Advisor will collaborate with internal teams to process applications, handle customer queries, and stay current on company products, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills to assess client needs and develop comprehensive financial solutions.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills to explain products, analyze options, and support sound decision-making.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Retirement Planning to help clients prepare sustainable long-term income strategies.
- Relevant academic background in finance, economics, business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CIS, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships.
- Proactive, goal-oriented mindset with sales or client-facing experience in financial services or insurance preferred.
- Comfort with using digital tools, CRM systems, and basic office software to manage client information and reporting.
- High ethical standards, attention to detail, and commitment to regulatory compliance and customer-centric service.
