The Financial Accountant is responsible for the accurate execution of day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance activities across the Optix Group’s assigned entities InstallerNet SA, Optix Europe and SingRisk, with supporting involvement in the financial accounting requirements of the Australian entity. This role is the technical accounting backbone of the Group finance function — ensuring that the underlying records, ledgers, and reconciliations on which the wider Group’s financial reporting depends are maintained to a consistently high standard of accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
Within South Africa, the role supports the financial accounting requirements of the installation trading entity — InstallerNet SA. The role also contributes to the international entities’ accounting cycles where required, supporting consolidation, intercompany processes, and statutory reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Manager, who in turn reports to the Executive: Finance, the Financial Accountant operates within an established financial governance framework. The role executes the technical accounting work that enables the Group Financial Manager to deliver accurate management accounts and statutory reporting and supports the Executive: Finance in providing the CFO and senior leadership with reliable financial information for decision-making.
