Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to support accurate financial reporting and informed operational decision making within a production‑driven environment. The role requires strong technical accounting skills, sound analytical capability, and the ability to work closely with operational teams to translate financial information into meaningful business insight.
The business, based in Centurion, is a well‑established organisation operating within the mining and manufacturing sector, forming part of a larger listed group with operations across South Africa. The organisation plays a key role in supplying materials to infrastructure and industrial markets and places strong emphasis on financial control, efficiency, and sustainable performance.

Duties
- Prepare and review monthly financial reports
- Analyse variances against budget
- Support month‑end close through journals, reconciliations, and reporting schedules
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and accounting support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and tracking actual vs budget performance
- Provide financial and profitability analysis to support business decisions
- Assist with internal and external audits
Skills & Experience:
- BCom in Accounting or a related field (Essential)
- CIMA qualification completed or in progress (Essential)
- 3–5 years’ experience in accounting within a manufacturing environment
- Advanced Excel skills, ERP exposure advantageous
