POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Fourways, Johannesburg. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, reconciliations, analysis, and audit preparation within a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly accruals, provisions, and prepayments
- Process and reconcile journal entries
- Conduct monthly income statement and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare audit working papers and assist with audit queries
- Perform financial analysis and reporting
- Assist with ad-hoc finance responsibilities and special projects
- Support the smooth running of finance operations and office administration processes
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounting role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles
- Advanced Excel and accounting software proficiency
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
