SUMMARY:

A leading manufacturing concern, based in Kempton Park, is seeking a highly skilled and hands‑on Finance Manager (CA(SA)) to oversee the full finance function within a dynamic production environment.

POSITION INFO:

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Chartered Accountant with solid manufacturing exposure who is ready to take ownership of financial operations, controls, costing, and strategic reporting.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full financial function for the manufacturing plant
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and margin reporting
• Lead month‑end, year‑end, and audit processes
• Ensure accurate COGS calculations, BOM accuracy, and production/stock accounting
• Strengthen financial controls, risk management, and statutory compliance
• Analyse variances, production efficiencies, and key cost drivers
• Provide financial insights and decision support to operational and executive teams
• Manage working capital, cash flow, and inventory performance
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
• Drive process optimisation and continuous improvement across finance and operations

📘 Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified CA(SA) (completed articles essential)
• Minimum 5 years’ post‑articles experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of costing, bill of materials, stock management, and production finance
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (SAP / Oracle / Syspro advantageous)
• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem‑solving capability
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• High levels of integrity, leadership, and business‑partnering ability
