Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Finance Manager role based in Moshi, Tanzania. The Finance Manager will oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Key responsibilities include monitoring financial performance, creating detailed financial reports, preparing budgets, managing accounting operations, and conducting financial risk assessments. Additionally, the Finance Manager will work closely with senior leadership to develop and implement financial policies to support strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in accounting operations and financial reporting
- Minimum 5 years of experience with at least 2 years in Hospitality and Hotel
- In-depth knowledge of financial risk management and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic decision-making
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, alongside advanced Excel skills
- Proven leadership and communication abilities to manage teams effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA designation is an advantage)
- Experience working in group-structured organization is an added advantage
- Strong understanding of hotel operations
