We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain practical experience in accounts payable, creditor control, and financial administration. The successful candidate will receive hands-on training and mentorship, with opportunities to take on increasing levels of responsibility as they develop within the role.
Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Finance or Accounting
- Basic understanding of accounting/finance principles
- Microsoft proficiency, particularly Excel
- Date capturing and record-keeping skills
- Numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Exposure to accounting systems will be advantageous
- No experience required

Responsibilities:
Creditor Control and Financial Administration
- Capture and process supplier invoices accurately and timeously.
- Generate ad hoc purchase orders as required.
- Perform creditor reconciliations against supplier statements.
- Prepare payment packs and supporting documentation for review and approval.
- Maintain control of office consumables, stationery, and other business resources.
- Assist with general finance administration and record-keeping.
Growth and Development Responsibilities
As proficiency is demonstrated and training progresses, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Loading supplier payments onto the banking platform.
- Proposing floorplan settlements and loading these for payment.
- Capturing and allocating payments on the accounting system.
- Providing additional support to the finance function as required.
