About the role:
This is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract on a Hybrid working pattern based out of our Johannesburg office.
SecurityHQ is seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Data & Reconciliation Accountant to support a global NetSuite implementation. Based in Johannesburg on a hybrid basis, this role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-volume, transactional environments and can quickly get to grips with complex financial data.
Reporting to the Project Lead, you will be responsible for processing large volumes of financial data, resolving backlogs, and executing accurate reconciliations across multiple entities.

What you will be doing:
- Performing detailed reconciliations of bank accounts, ledgers, and control accounts
- Processing and validating high volumes of financial data
- Supporting data ingestion, mapping, and posting into NetSuite
- Assisting with data table configuration and financial data setup
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies and transactional backlogs
- Supporting reporting outputs and ensuring data accuracy
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in a transactional accounting or reconciliation-focused role
- Strong ERP experience, ideally with NetSuite or similar systems
- Ability to quickly understand complex ledger structures
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-sufficient with the ability to work independently under direction
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
