Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Finance Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our South African offices. This role involves financial planning, budgeting, treasury, reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulations—while supporting strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial projections and budgeting
- Financial reporting and performance analysis
- Preparation of financial statements (regulatory compliance)
- Lead and coordinate annual audits
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard assets
- Provide financial guidance across departments
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks
- Treasury management
- Ensure compliance with tax and financial legislation
- Collaborate with senior management on financial strategy
- Work closely with GBS Bulgaria (Group Business Support Center)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
- Proven experience as a Controller, Auditor, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations & accounting principles
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of South African financial regulations (African experience advantageous)
- ERP systems experience (SAP advantageous)
Salary: Market-related
