Finance Clerk Jobs in Cape Town at ABSOLUTE PETS
Absolute Pets is a growing Pet Care Retailer and is looking for a Finance Clerk, with a focus on being an all-rounder within the finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
Creditors Processing and Reconciliation:
- Process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
- Prepare supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies or queries promptly.
- Report account status and follow up on month-end invoices and statements to meet retail calendar deadlines.
ThinkTime Tickets:
- Assist with weekly ticket clearing to support reporting timelines, including:
- Reallocate tender errors in IQ, including cash and card transactions.
- Obtain and validate documentation for card sales and sundry transactions.
General Finance Support & Administration:
- Provide general finance and administrative support as required.
Qualifications and experience
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in a finance role
- Diploma in Bookkeeping or equivalent
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft suite
- Good Excel skills with the ability to use VLOOKUP’s and Pivot Tables
