Final Finish/ Repair Tech Fiberglass Tech Jobs in New Paris, IN at Patrick Industries
Essential Functions:
- Complete onsite repairs of fiberglass parts consisting of body work and fiberglass repair.
- Maintaining accurate repair logs
- Use of DA Sander, Straight Block, Router, grinder, and putty knife
- Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Work cooperatively with production team to meet quotas and goals
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management
- Follow all written and verbal instructions
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Able to work overtime, including weekends
- Assist others in inspecting and moving parts
Specifications:
Technical Knowledge
- Ability to use a DA sander, straight block, router, grinder and putty knife.
- Ability to mix and apply bondo
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain stationary 100% of the time.
- Frequently lifts fiberglass parts up to 50 pounds and occasionally parts up to 125 pounds (with assistance), and must be able to transport these parts up to 10 feet.
Working Conditions:
This position is exposed to extreme indoor and outdoor temperatures, fumes, dust, and loud noises.
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
