Salary: R10,000 – R12,000 (depending on experience) + travel allowance + performance incentives.
Job Overview
We are looking for a driven, hands-on merchandiser and brand representative to grow the presence of De Poes Belgian Pilsner and affiliated specialty beers across Gauteng.
This is not a shelf-packing role. You will be responsible for building relationships, increasing sales and securing draught system placements in bars and restaurants.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Merchandising
• Maintain shelf stock and rotation (FIFO)
• Ensure strong in-store visibility and POS placement
• Build relationships with store managers
On-Trade (Bars & Restaurants)
• Open new accounts and grow existing ones
• Secure draught presence
• Ensure proper product handling and quality
Sales & Growth
• Take and manage orders
• Upsell and increase basket size
• Meet monthly sales targets
Promotions & Brand Building
• Run tastings and promotions
• Represent the brand professionally
• Educate customers and staff
Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in liquor or FMCG sales or merchandising
• Strong communication skills
• Driver’s license and own vehicle
• Self-motivated and target-driven
Advantageous
• Craft beer or premium alcohol experience
• Draught system knowledge
• Existing industry relationships
