Job Description

To provide administrative support to the fiduciary department by compiling and analysing data and information

  • Demonstrate cost consciousness and awareness of personal contribution to costs and productivity
  • Adhere to Organisational values and service standards and interact with and communicate with customers accordingly
  • Ensure first time resolution of customer queries or complaints and take ownership of any requirements and follow up on queries handed over to other parties or areas to ensure delivery on agreed timelines and Service Level Agreements
  • Ensure own product knowledge and guidance provided is technically accurate and collects feedback to help improve customer service
  • Report on transactional activity progression within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability
  • Ensure compliance is maintained within the Banking Group with specific focus on the regulatory reporting or regulations aspect of the Banks Act
  • Facilitate the Graph Discussions between the Banking Group and the SARB to ensure that all correspondence received and sent to BSD is prepared by RRM in conjunction with Regulatory Reporting
  • Implement, monitor and control policies and processes to ensure regulatory compliance within the business, with specific focus on requirements as per the Bank Act in order to minimise risk to the business
  • Collect, capture and tabulate economic data for use in economic forecasting
  • Keep up to date with market developments, new commercial products and all other areas that affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries, considering how the economic implications of factors such as natural disasters, weather, wars, etc., might affect the performance of companies and funds
  • Provide specialist advice and support to executives and senior management on economical viable products to grow as a competitive industry provider


Minimum Requirements


Qualifications

  • NQF7 FSCA recognised – essential
  • Relevant qualification (advantageous):

    • Legal / Law
    • Finance / Accounting
    • Estate Planning / Trust Administration


Experience

  • 3–5 years’ experience in:

    • Fiduciary services / trust administration / estates OR
    • Financial services / legal administrative support
  • Exposure to wills, trusts, or estate processes is advantageous


Knowledge & Skills

  • Understanding of fiduciary services (trusts, estates, wills)
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of compliance requirements (FICA / FAIS)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred / Advantageous

  • Experience in Private Banking or Wealth environment
  • Exposure to high-net-worth client servicing
