Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Facilities Engineer to join our team in Libya. This role provides hands-on experience in ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of facilities and infrastructure supporting field operations. The Facilities Engineer will support maintenance and improvement initiatives, participate in risk management, and help implement technical and safety standards across the facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities on facility systems
- Participate in risk assessments and implement mitigation measures
- Assist with technical projects, upgrades, and engineering programs for facilities
- Support compliance with company and regulatory standards, including safety and environmental requirements
- Develop relationships with internal teams and contractors to ensure service quality
- Lead or participate in inspections, audits, and wellsite assessments to ensure facility integrity
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility performance
- Participate in HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) and Quality initiatives
- Maintain required safety training and certifications
- Provide backup support to Facility Leads and PSD Managers as needed

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Facilities Engineering
- Knowledge of facility systems, building services, and infrastructure maintenance
- Understanding of HSE, quality, and compliance standards in facility operations
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Motivation to learn and grow in facilities engineering and operational excellence
