Fashion Designer Intern Jobs in Cape Town at colorado clothing store
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting in researching emerging styles & keeping up with trends
- sketching basic design ideas
- filing sketches and fabric records
- provide effective test options to establish new product categories & iterations on existing product lines
- manage the entire design process
- support measurement checks and design directions
- support the creation of seasonal design directions
- organizing fabric swatches, trims, and materials
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or degree in fashion designing or related field/currently studying towards one
SKILLS:
- basic knowledge of garment construction & textiles
- ability to sketch(both hand & digital)
- strong attention to detail & willingness to learn
- creative and passionate about fashion
- organized and reliable
- able to take instruction and work in a team
- positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
6 days a week/ 9am-6pm
Pay: From R5 000,00 per month
