Overview
I am the Operations Manager of a Farm Distillery and I am looking for experienced help to aid in Estate Management.
Responsibilities
- Mowing, trimming, and blowing property
- Clipping fields with bushhog
- Aiding in the production of spirits
- Utilizing tractor implements to complete tasks on farm
- Completing farm errands in the Albemarle County/ Augusta County area
- Utilizing hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks
- Cutting and splitting firewood for Tasting Room and Office
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas, including barns, stillhouse, and office
- Conducting heavy lifting as required for moving supplies and equipment
- Conducting basic equipment maintenance
- Landscaping around distillery/ tasting room
Qualifications
- Previous experience in farming or landscaping is preferred
- Basic mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery and equipment repair
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must be capable of performing heavy lifting (up to 100 pounds) as needed
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
