Are you practical, reliable, and happy to roll up your sleeves? We are looking for a Facilities Agent to help keep our campuses clean, safe, organised, and running smoothly.
This role includes facilities maintenance, cleaning, campus support, and driving responsibilities. You will help create a welcoming environment for students and staff while supporting the day-to-day operations of our Stellenbosch campus and School of Business and Innovation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As a Facilities Agent, you will support campus operations through a combination of maintenance, cleaning, and student transport responsibilities:
- Carry out general maintenance and basic repair work.
- Help keep classrooms, offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces clean and presentable.
- Assist with setting up classrooms, events, and campus activities.
- Conduct routine checks to identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Support recycling, waste management, and campus cleanliness.
- Act as the Workshop Facilitator for the Learning Hub and help ensure it remains organised, safe, and ready for use.
- Drive students between campuses or to approved activities when required.
- Complete vehicle checks and keep vehicles clean and roadworthy.
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or incidents promptly.
- Provide helpful and professional support to students, staff, and visitors.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience in maintenance, cleaning, facilities, or a similar environment.
- Basic handyman or repair skills.
- Good communication and people skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed.
- A High School Certificate (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- A valid driver’s licence.
- A valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
