Export & Logistics Coordinator Jobs in Stellenbosch at ASARA WINE ESTATE AND HOTEL
Asara Wine Estate & Hotel (Pty) Ltd in Stellenbosch, Western Cape is looking for a dynamic, competent and self-motivated team player with excellent communication, time-management, planning & organisational skills. The ideal candidate has the ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure.
The position requires excellent logistical & communication skills (Afrikaans & English) to liaise with suppliers, shipping agents & overseas clients.
DUTIES will include (but not be limited to):
- Processing orders received,
- Pastel invoicing, -Bill of materials creation,
- Receiving of dry goods on Pastel,
- Manufacturing of labelled stock on Pastel,
- Monthly stock take,
- Wine submission to Sawis (BG9 & BG11),
- Maintain sensory validation dates of all wines,
- Export documentation for all exports,
- Communication with freight forwarders,
- Monthly Statements to customers,
- Following up on outstanding and overdue debt,
- Monthly Sawis (5 & 7 – 1st step) submission,
- Monthly SARS excise (2nd Step) submission.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCES:
- Matric required, a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role relating to an exports, logistics or sales & procurement environment
- Knowledge of SAWIS & compliance regulations
- Excellent computer literacy (Ezy Wine, MS Office, specifically Microsoft Excel)
- Experience in workflow designs or creation of a logistics system or process would be advantageous
- Own reliable transport
- Forklift & Truck license beneficial
