Expert Mechanical Engineer (Pr Eng)
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Expert Mechanical Engineer to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng/BSc Engineering qualification in Mechanical Engineering
- ECSA registration will be advantageous
- Minimum 10 years’ Mechanical Engineering experience
- Experience in power generation, mining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment, piping systems, rotating equipment, maintenance, and plant operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist mechanical engineering support
- Review and approve mechanical designs, specifications, and technical reports
- Support maintenance, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements
- Provide technical guidance to project teams
