Expert Electrical Engineer (Pr Eng)
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Expert Electrical Engineer (Pr Eng) to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng/BSc Engineering qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Registered Pr Eng with ECSA
- Minimum 15 years’ Electrical Engineering experience
- Experience in power generation, mining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects
- Knowledge of HV/LV systems, substations, switchgear, protection systems, and electrical installations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist electrical engineering support
- Review and approve electrical designs, specifications, and technical reports
- Support commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
