Expert Control & Instrumentation Engineer (Pr Eng)
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Expert Control & Instrumentation Engineer (Pr Eng) to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng/BSc Engineering qualification in Control & Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronic, or related field
- Registered Pr Eng with ECSA
- Minimum 15 years’ Control & Instrumentation engineering experience
- Experience in power generation, mining, petrochemical, or heavy industrial projects
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, instrumentation, and process control systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist C&I engineering support
- Review and approve designs, specifications, and technical reports
- Support commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimisation of control systems
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
