Expert Chemical Engineer
An EME based in Pretoria East, Waltloo is seeking an experienced Expert Chemical Engineer to join their team.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng/BSc Engineering qualification in Chemical Engineering
- ECSA registration will be advantageous
- Minimum 10 years’ Chemical Engineering experience
- Experience in power generation, mining, petrochemical, water treatment, or heavy industrial projects
- Knowledge of process design, process optimisation, chemical treatment systems, and plant operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist chemical engineering support
- Review and approve process designs, specifications, and technical reports
- Support process optimisation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and client requirements
- Provide technical guidance to project teams
