Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter to join our dynamic construction and restoration team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive carpentry expertise to execute a wide range of projects, from new construction to complex restoration jobs. Your hands-on experience with various building techniques, blueprint reading, and tool operation will be essential in delivering top-quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse sites, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects, while contributing to the successful completion of each task with precision and professionalism.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and metal stud framing with precision.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
- Install fixtures, flooring, tile, drywall (including plastering), stucco, and roofing components in various environments.
- Conduct working with wood, metal, or other materials to create custom components.
- Assist with remodeling projects by performing demolition, carpentry repairs, painting preparation, and general handyman tasks.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction estimating, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and restoration industry projects.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (including CNC machinery), scaffolding, and heavy lifting equipment.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site safety protocols.
- Hands-on experience in roofing, siding installation, drywall finishing (including plastering), flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation.
- Familiarity with plumbing systems, electrical work experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly on-site during project execution.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials regularly and work in various environmental conditions for extended periods.
