Overview:
A well-established organisation within the construction/manufacturing sector is seeking an Estimator to prepare accurate and cost-effective project estimates. The role involves analysing drawings, specifications, and technical data to determine project requirements and ensure precise costing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects based on drawings and specifications
- Analyse structural and architectural drawings to determine material and design requirements
- Utilise PROKON (Beam Analysis) and internal design load span tables for calculations
- Compile and review project documentation, including proposals and technical specifications
- Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and aligned with project requirements
- Liaise with internal teams to clarify technical and costing aspects
- Maintain accurate records of estimates and supporting documentation
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience working with PROKON (Beam Analysis)
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
