Role Overview:
The ER Specialist will be responsible for delivering immediate and comprehensive emergency medical care to patients. The role requires a highly skilled professional who can make critical decisions in high-pressure situations while ensuring compassionate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency diagnosis, treatment, and stabilization of patients.
- Manage trauma, acute medical conditions, and life-threatening emergencies.
- Supervise and guide nurses and junior staff in emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with other medical professionals for patient referrals and follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
- Participate in training, drills, and community health initiatives when required.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with specialization in Emergency Medicine.
- Valid license to practice as an ER Specialist (international qualifications accepted).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an emergency/trauma setting.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and adaptability in multicultural environments.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Nauru.
