Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Environmental Consultant based in Modimolle, with the flexibility to work from home on occasion. The Environmental Consultant will conduct environmental impact assessments, ensure compliance with environmental regulations, and provide consulting services to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing reports, analyzing environmental risks, developing mitigation strategies, and advising on sustainable practices. Collaboration with various stakeholders and ensuring alignment with environmental policies will be key components of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Compliance
- Experience in Environmental Consulting and Environmental Science
- Strong skills in Report Writing
- Familiarity with environmental laws, regulations, and sustainability practices
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage projects independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Knowledge of local and global environmental challenges is a plus
- Registered with EAPASA & SACNASP (Mandatory)
