Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions
- Stabilise and treat critically ill and injured patients
- Perform emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation
- Provide high-quality, patient-centred emergency care
- Adhere to HPCSA and facility clinical governance standards
Minimum Requirements
- MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
- Valid and active HPCSA registration
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications
- Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Proven experience in Emergency Medicine
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
