About Us
We are a growing apparel and branding business looking for a reliable, detail-focused Embroidery Machine Operator to join our production team. We produce branded garments, caps, patches and custom embroidery work for retail and business clients.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for operating commercial embroidery machines, preparing garments for production, monitoring stitch quality, and ensuring finished products meet a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial multi-needle embroidery machines
- Hoop garments, caps and other products correctly
- Load designs and set up jobs for production
- Change threads, needles and backing materials as required
- Monitor machine performance during runs
- Identify and correct thread breaks, tension issues and stitching faults
- Trim garments and inspect final quality
- Keep machines and work area clean and organised
- Assist with production scheduling and deadlines
Requirements
- Previous embroidery machine experience required
- Experience with commercial embroidery machines required
- Good attention to detail and neat finishing standards
- Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality
- Reliable, punctual and able to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with caps, patches or garment embroidery
Advantageous Skills
- Efficient with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Affinity
- Basic understanding of digitising files (DST, EMB etc.)
- Machine maintenance / troubleshooting ability
- Garment production experience
Salary
Competitive salary based on experience and ability.
