ELECTRICIAN – MEDIUM & LOW VOLTAGE
POSITION INFO:
GAUTENG (CENTURION / PRETORIA AREA) Our client in the electrical engineering and energy solutions industry is seeking a qualified Electrician to join their team in Gauteng. This role is ideal for a hands-on individual with strong technical skills who is prepared to travel and work on various customer sites across South Africa and beyond. INDUSTRY EXPERTISE:
- Medium Voltage Electrical Equipment
- Diesel Generator Systems
- UPS Systems
- Solar PV Systems REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualified Electrician with SETA / Red Seal certification
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- Passport for regional and international travel
- Wireman's Licence or currently studying towards one will be beneficial
- Experience with medium voltage equipment will be advantageous
- Good physical and mental health with sober habits KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead installation and construction teams on site
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Maintain high-quality workmanship standards
- Apply risk assessments and safe working practices
- Assist with maintenance and commissioning of electrical systems
- Attention to detail, innovative thinking, and problem solving are essential
