The company operates its own steel workshops in Alexandria, producing over 1,000 tons of steel per month, depending on project needs. This combination of in-house capabilities and large-scale project expertise offers team members exposure to complex, high-impact engineering work.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Technician role based in Egypt under construction sites.The Electrical Technician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems of earth moving machines used in the company’s construction and industrial operations. Daily responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting faults, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of electrical panels, motors, and control systems. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical drawings and coordinating with engineering and construction teams to resolve technical issues. The Electrical Technician will also follow company safety procedures, support compliance with relevant standards, and document maintenance activities and test results.
Qualifications
- Strong practical skills in Electrical Maintenance and handling Electrical Equipment in industrial or construction environments.
- Solid understanding of Electricity principles and applied Electrical Engineering fundamentals relevant to field work.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting electrical faults, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Experience reading electrical drawings, schematics, and single-line diagrams, with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately.
- Familiarity with relevant safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe use of electrical tools and test instruments.
- Ability to work on-site in workshop and construction settings, including occasional overtime or shift work when required.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Previous experience in EPC, industrial facilities, or steel fabrication environments is an advantage.
