Role Description The Electrical Maintenance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in 6th of October, responsible for maintaining and ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment in the facility. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing electrical issues, conducting repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime. The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults in production machinery, coordinating with other maintenance and operations teams, and documenting maintenance activities and system performance. The specialist will also assist in upgrading electrical infrastructure, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the plant.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Electricity and Electrical Maintenance, with hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in Troubleshooting and Electrical Troubleshooting, including diagnosing faults in machinery, panels, and control systems.
  • Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, including planning, executing, and documenting scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and best practices, with a commitment to safe work procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and other maintenance staff.
  • Willingness to work on-site in 6th of October and support occasional overtime or shift work as needed.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or similar industrial settings is an advantage.
