As we continue to expand our operations and our expertise in battery energy storage solutions (BESS) and maintain our status as the leading C&I IPP, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Electrical Engineer is essential to support the design, performance, and compliance of the company’s renewable energy assets. As the portfolio grows, dedicated electrical engineering expertise is required to oversee grid integration, commissioning, and performance optimisation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Valid Driver’s Licence
- Own vehicle

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3+ years’ experience in an Electrical Engineering Environment
- Reading and producing electrical network diagrams
- Solar PV experience
- ECSA Candidate engineer preferred
TECHNICAL PREFERENCES:
- Homer/PVSOL/PVSYST/ Helioscope
- CAD experience
- MV and Substation design
- Communication systems design
- Perform and review power system studies
- Experience with energy efficiency projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Solar Project Engineering (key focus area):
- Preliminary Design of Grid Tied, Hybrid and Microgrid Solar PV systems
- Detailed Design of Grid Tied, Hybrid and Microgrid Solar PV systems
- Commissioning assistance for Grid Tied, Hybrid and Microgrid Solar PV systems
- Contribute to Compiling of Project Budgets
- Compiling of Construction Drawings and Project documentation
- Site Investigations & Quality Inspections
- Performance Monitoring and Reporting
- Technology research
- Technical support and client liaison including troubleshooting
- Mentor and assist in training of graduate engineers
