Election Worker Details:

• Temporary position
• $15.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Saturday)

• Setting up computers and printers at polling stations
• Checking operations
• Helping voters as needed
• Help taking down polling stations after elections and loading them into truck

Election Worker Qualifications:

• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be able to pass background check
• Must have reliable transportation – will be driving all over San Juan County
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
• Customer service is of utmost importance

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment

• A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed. You will be required to complete and submit a questionnaire. We will consider your age at the time of the offense, when the offense occurred, the seriousness and the nature of the offense, as well as any rehabilitation to determine your employability.
